About Me

I’m an interdisciplinary researcher and heritage practitioner interested in how and why we preserve historical objects, records and buildings. This website is designed to be a place you can find up-to-date information about my work and get in touch with me.

I’m an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, and a member of the Paul Mellon Centre’s Early Career Network, and a member of the Association for Art History. Specialising in colonial collections, institutional histories, and the public memory of empire, I’ve contributed to projects at the V&A, Pitt Rivers Museum, National Trust, Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology and the Sedgwick Museum of Earth Sciences.

I completed my doctorate in Archaeology at the University of Oxford in 2024, which was generously funded by the AHRC as a Collaborative Doctoral Award partnered with the National Trust. In 2023, I was selected to take part in the TV Foundation’s AHRC TV PhD Scheme, which you can read more about here. Before commencing my PhD, I completed a BA in Modern History and Politics at the University of Manchester and an MA in Modern History at the University of Warwick.

You can see details of my publications on the writing page and find more information about me and my work through my ORCiD profile. You can also find updates from me on LinkedIn and Bluesky.

If you’d like to chat about possible collaborations, feel free to to contact me via email.
